Base Salary
$124k - $124k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write, debug, and maintain embedded software in C/C++ and Python for robotic systems.
- Integrate software with hardware, ARM Cortex MCUs, and peripherals using CAN, I2C, and SPI.
- Participate in code reviews and use GitHub for source control, tracking, and testing.
- Contribute to CMake/Make build systems and CI/CD pipelines for firmware releases.
- Maintain technical documentation for integrated systems and software features.
- Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
- Strong C/C++ software engineering and coding skills.
- Experience with ARM Cortex MCUs, embedded RTOS, multithreaded environments, and embedded system interfaces including CAN, I2C, SPI, GPIO, interrupts, timers, and PWM.
- Familiarity with Linux, Makefile and/or CMake build systems, pytest, GitHub, continuous integration, and lab equipment such as DMMs and oscilloscopes.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, and experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub, and JIRA.
