Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture of the composable technology landscape across commerce, CRM, PIM, CMS, DAM, iPaaS, and SAP ERP.
- Design integration, BFF, and API layers for headless frontends using API-led and event-driven patterns.
- Define and evolve practical standards for API design, data contracts, event handling, identity, and observability.
- Work with product owners, brand marketing leads, implementation partners, and internal teams to review designs and make technical decisions.
- Evaluate emerging composable commerce, integration, and AI-assisted engineering platforms and recommend appropriate technologies.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent track record.
- At least 8 years of experience in software or solution architecture, including at least 3 years designing and running composable, API-first landscapes in production.
- Hands-on experience with SaaS-heavy, iPaaS-driven integration patterns, including event-driven and API-led integration, idempotency, error handling, and observability.
- Working knowledge of composable commerce technologies, including CRM, PIM, headless commerce, headless CMS, DAM, CIAM, and SAP ERP integration.
- Experience designing BFF and API layers with REST and GraphQL for headless frontends.
- Experience with modern SPA stacks such as Vue or Nuxt and edge platforms such as Cloudflare is preferred.
- Comfort with SQL, NoSQL, data models, and data flows across commerce, CRM, PIM, and ERP systems.
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or comparable analytics platforms is preferred.
- Strong systems thinking, pragmatic architecture judgment, communication skills, and a hands-on delivery mindset are required.
- Experience in a scale-up or product company and certifications are welcome but not required.
