Senior Software Engineer - Backend - Multi Product Platform

Responsibilities
- Build and iterate on product offerings, APIs, platforms, frameworks, and tools.
- Design, develop, and maintain feature buildouts supporting a high-quality customer experience.
- Architect configuration platform solutions that improve developer productivity and scale with business growth.
- Ensure the stability and reliability of delivered systems.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and the team-wide on-call rotation.
- Write readable, testable code that handles edge cases and errors.
- Write and review technical design documents and lead adoption of technical solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers on integrated product development.
- Own projects, contribute to roadmap discussions, and propose long-term plans.
- Share knowledge and contribute to team-wide engineering practices and professional development.
Requirements
- 7+ years of industry experience as a software engineer with strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience building low-latency and high-throughput systems.
- Strong production experience with Python and Golang, plus SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience designing resilient, scalable applications with a focus on operational excellence.
- Ability to own and drive complex systems end to end and influence cross-team goals and roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of service health, monitoring, fault tolerance, and incident response practices.
- Experience with code quality, testing, performance, technical trade-offs, and technical design documentation.
- Strong communication, mentorship, collaboration, autonomy, and asynchronous work skills.
- Experience with Golang and Airflow orchestration is preferred.
- Platform-as-a-product experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with ChatGPT, Cursor, and other generative AI productivity tools is preferred.
