Responsibilities

Work closely with Engineering and QA teams to ensure a stable and scalable public cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with developers to address their requirements for resources, capacity, configuration, security, deployment, and monitoring.
Develop project plans and drive tasks in coordination with senior management.
Maintain escalation policies and incident communication across multiple virtual NOCs.
Manage 24x7x365 Incident Management and drive continuous improvements in Problem Management.
Evaluate technology options to enhance processes, tooling, and monitoring.
Build and maintain suitable test environments and deployment pipelines in collaboration with QA.
Work with Sales to create and maintain demonstration/Proof of Concept environments.
Provide detailed incident reports and maintenance activity scopes in collaboration with Customer Success.
Acquire and maintain knowledge of live and under-development products and services.

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience managing projects and delivering results.
Extensive experience with cloud systems architecture and monitoring frameworks.
Experience using source control tools such as Git.
Significant scripting experience in Python and Bash.
Contribute to the code and unit tests for internal SRE tools written in Python.
Experience with continuous integration platforms such as Jenkins.
Experience with configuration management and orchestration tools like Terraform.
Occasional travel may be requested.
