Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions for complex client business problems.
- Write clean, reusable, high-quality code using object-oriented programming, design patterns, TDD, and pair programming.
- Build large-scale distributed systems using microservices.
- Collaborate with analysts, designers, project managers, and other teammates to develop features, concepts, prototypes, and customer experiences.
- Apply continuous delivery, DevSecOps, and related engineering practices to build and deploy software.
- Participate in the full software consulting and delivery lifecycle from ideation through deployment.
- Assess team health, code quality, and nonfunctional requirements.
- Mentor less-experienced peers and help drive technical vision and engineering excellence.
- Share technical expertise through speaking engagements, open-source contributions, blogs, and other community activities.
Requirements
- Experience with one or more of Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills and the ability to write well-tested, high-quality code.
- Awareness of test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery approaches and tools.
- Comfort with Agile approaches such as Extreme Programming, Scrum, and/or Kanban.
- Ability to influence others, advocate for technical excellence, collaborate effectively, and navigate ambiguity.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker is a bonus.
