Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions and large-scale distributed systems for client business problems.
- Write clean, reusable, high-quality, well-tested code using appropriate development and engineering practices.
- Collaborate with analysts, designers, project managers, and other teammates to build features, design concepts, and interactive prototypes.
- Apply continuous delivery, DevSecOps, and deployment practices across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Participate in software consulting and delivery from ideation through deployment.
- Mentor less-experienced peers and advocate for technical excellence and improved engineering practices.
Requirements
- Experience with one or more of Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, or TypeScript and object-oriented programming.
- Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code and apply sound software engineering practices.
- Familiarity with test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery approaches or tools.
- Comfort with collaborative Agile development practices such as Extreme Programming, Scrum, or Kanban.
- Preferred working knowledge of AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Docker.
- Ability to influence others, navigate ambiguity, and advocate for technical excellence.
- Interest in sharing expertise through speaking engagements, open-source contributions, blogs, or similar external technology-community activities.
