Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage end-to-end CI/CD frameworks for NTN component deployment.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and scalable automation frameworks across network engineering.
- Manage release lifecycles and automate multi-vendor, multi-domain software and firmware releases across RAN, core, and other network layers.
- Build and maintain automated integration, staging, pre-production, and testing environments with versioning, rollback, and safe-deployment strategies.
- Improve DevOps workflows to increase reliability, reduce lead times, and support zero-touch deployments.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure and automation follow security best practices, including role-based access control and appropriate security policies.
- Enable proactive fault detection and predictive maintenance for cloud-hosted network components.
- Lead infrastructure modernization and strategic automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with network design teams, cloud architects, and security teams to optimize automation strategies.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or telecom automation.
- Knowledge and experience deploying RAN, EPC, and other network components.
- Expertise with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitLab.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, Ansible, or Go for automation scripting.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration in telecom environments.
- Experience deploying network components in hybrid, cloud-native, and edge-computing environments.
- Proficiency with AWS, GCP, and related cloud and networking services.
- Understanding of 3GPP standards and 4G/5G network integrations is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, optimization, collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.
