Responsibilities
- Build new features and maintain existing platform functionality according to specifications and designs.
- Participate in code reviews and functional and architectural design of assigned features.
- Research and evaluate technical implementation options.
- Estimate feature scope and divide work into tasks.
- Report feature readiness and quality to the Team Lead or supervisor, raising red flags during crisis situations.
- Collaborate closely with team members and relevant stakeholders.
- Suggest technical and functional improvements to the product.
- Follow established software development processes and produce technical documentation.
Requirements
- Experience programming in ANSI C.
- Experience with multicore and multithreaded programming.
- Experience with Linux and POSIX.
- Experience developing the Linux kernel.
- English proficiency sufficient for verbal and written communication.
- Strong communication, collaboration, teamwork, technical documentation, research, and learning skills.
- Experience optimizing software for ARM processors, parallel computation, virtualization software or hypervisors, and assembler is a plus.
