Responsibilities
- Build new features and maintain existing platform or product functionality according to specifications and design.
- Participate in code reviews and functional and architectural design of assigned features.
- Research and evaluate technical implementation options.
- Estimate feature scope and divide features into tasks.
- Report feature readiness and quality to the team lead or supervisor and raise concerns during crises.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders and suggest technical and functional product improvements.
Requirements
- Experience programming in ANSI C.
- Experience with multicore and multithreaded programming.
- Experience with Linux/POSIX.
- Experience with Linux kernel development.
- Preferred experience optimizing software for ARM processors, parallel computation, virtualization software or hypervisors, and assembler.
- Sufficient English for verbal and written communication, plus technical documentation, collaboration, teamwork, and research skills.
