Base Salary
$70k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software supporting banking and AML transaction-monitoring needs.
- Install, configure, deploy, and administer SAS Viya and related vendor software across multiple environments.
- Use SQL, ETL tools, APIs, and data frameworks to standardize and ingest large datasets.
- Perform design, development, unit testing, defect resolution, implementation planning, change controls, and production support.
- Provide L3 production support, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting for complex technical and data-quality issues.
- Research and support monitoring, high availability, and production-environment support practices.
- Configure users, groups, and roles across business functions and maintain system documentation.
- Provide technical leadership through design direction, code reviews, testing guidance, technical training, and mentoring.
- Partner with AML business teams, testers, analysts, vendors, IT groups, and other business units to deliver technical solutions.
- Participate in agile planning, estimation, scope management, and other agile events and ceremonies.
- Provide 24/7/365 production support coverage as part of the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or four additional years of equivalent experience.
- At least five years of related software development experience, including SAS, SQL, Python, Java, Spring Boot, and ETL tools.
- Professional experience with the SAS Viya platform and SAS Viya Administration version 3.5 or higher is highly preferred.
- Experience building microservices, APIs, or SAS scripts is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Platform and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Experience maintaining current environments through vendor patches, fixes, and scheduled updates is preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, EWS, big data platforms, and cloud technologies is preferred.
- Experience with Dynatrace, Zenoss, Splunk, or DataDog is preferred.
- Expertise using GitHub repositories and experience with ADO and DevOps practices are preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an agile, multi-platform environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to balance development and support responsibilities and work effectively with business, IT, vendor, and peer groups.
- Microsoft Office experience is preferred.
