Base Salary
$148k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the roadmap and architecture based on technology and business needs.
- Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code.
- Explain various trade-offs made in technical decisions.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Build features from technical specifications to execution.
- Proactively resolve ongoing incidents.
- Support and communicate effectively across teams.
- Share knowledge through brown bags and tech talks.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering industry experience.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
- Experience designing and running fault-tolerant, large-scale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
- Solid knowledge of distributed systems and databases.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
