Responsibilities
- Design and deliver reliable, secure application deployment capabilities for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Build platform services and developer tools that improve developer productivity and accelerate software delivery.
- Design scalable APIs, data models, and service architectures with strong availability, security, and operability.
- Drive projects from problem definition through design, implementation, launch, and ongoing operation.
- Collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines and contribute to safe, governed agentic engineering at cloud scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience delivering production-quality distributed systems, platform services, or developer tools.
- Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages such as Java, Go, C++, C#, or Python.
- Experience designing APIs, data models, and service architectures for scalability, availability, security, and operability.
- Understanding of cloud-native systems, containers, orchestration, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, or release engineering.
- Demonstrated ownership from problem definition through ongoing operation, along with clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience with application deployment platforms, continuous delivery, GitOps, artifact management, developer platform engineering, distributed systems, multi-tenant cloud services, control planes, workflow orchestration, site reliability, incident response, observability, capacity and performance engineering, security, identity and access management, policy-as-code, supply-chain security, compliance automation, or AI-assisted developer tools.
