Responsibilities
- Evaluate the performance of products and features across the company.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and partner with engineers to resolve them.
- Set performance targets for software releases and guide teams in developing benchmarks.
- Conduct competitive benchmark analysis for various Databricks products.
- Perform deep dive analyses to identify and fix performance issues.
- Work with customers to root cause and reduce performance problems.
Requirements
- PhD in databases or systems.
- Knowledge of database systems, storage systems, and distributed systems.
- Experience in performance optimization.
- Motivated by delivering customer value and influence.
