Responsibilities
- Translate vague requirements into machine learning models for real-world problems.
- Conduct machine learning experiments using programming languages and ML libraries.
- Develop generative AI solutions and custom machine learning code.
- Optimize ML solutions for performance and scalability, including GPU or distributed computing workloads.
- Build efficient data flows between databases and backend systems.
- Automate MLOps workflows focused on testing, reproducibility, and feature and metadata storage.
- Design ML architectures using Google Cloud tools and services.
- Build and deploy production-grade software for machine learning and data-driven solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with prospects, scope projects, lead client discussions, and oversee engagement delivery.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Proficiency in Python as a backend programming language and ability to deliver production-ready code.
- Strong machine learning and data science fundamentals, including model optimization and deployment practices.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with foundational software engineering practices and well-tested production pipelines.
- Strong SQL knowledge for querying and managing data.
- Experience scaling computations using GPUs or distributed computing systems.
- Familiarity with exposing machine learning components through web services or wrappers such as Flask in Python.
- Strong communication, presentation, and consulting skills.
- Scale-up experience is a bonus.
- Cloud certifications such as Google CDL or AWS Solution Architect are a bonus.
