$100k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design architectures for specialized subagents operating within live customer conversations.
- Build routing and delegation systems for direct answers, subagent invocation, parallel specialists, clarification, tool use, human escalation, and unsafe-action handling.
- Define contracts between primary conversational agents and subagents, including inputs, context boundaries, structured outputs, confidence, evidence, latency budgets, cancellation, and failure handling.
- Become an expert in the company’s dialogue platform and train others on prompting.
- Use prompting, RAG knowledge-base creation, and fine-tuning to improve AI capabilities.
- Create small-scale prototypes and use AI-assisted coding to test prompting and data workflows.
- Develop multimedia prompting strategies involving images, video, LLMs, and text embedding models.
- Document work and educate colleagues through written materials and presentations.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in AI, LLMs, natural language processing, conversation design, or related fields.
- Strong hands-on experience prompting OpenAI and Anthropic models through APIs, including prompt parameters and components.
- Basic coding proficiency for rapid prototyping, iteration, API interaction, and integration.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to produce polished write-ups or slides and teach others.
- Experience with conversational LLM outputs and prompting or writing.
- Copywriting, data science, and software engineering skills are a plus.
