Responsibilities
- Support key technical engagements for Stripe in India.
- Advise senior business and technical stakeholders and build trusted customer relationships.
- Understand customer objectives, design Stripe-based solutions, and develop transformation journeys, roadmaps, and architectures involving third-party integrations.
- Lead discovery, strategy engagements, executive briefings, presentations, solution demos, and technical-win activities.
- Represent regional customer insights and opportunities to Stripe’s Product and Engineering organizations.
- Participate in sales forecasting, Quarterly Business Reviews, and account or territory planning.
- Provide technical insight and solution guidance to prospective and existing customers as part of the sales team.
- Manage pre-sales projects, including proof-of-concept development and feasibility checks.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role, such as solution consultant, solutions architect, or sales engineer, for a global software enterprise.
- Executive engagement, relationship-building, group-facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architecture.
- Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to understand Stripe’s products and apply them to diverse business models.
- Preferred: payments-domain expertise and experience presenting and architecting solutions for platform customers.
- Preferred: experience driving technical sales and supporting customers’ unique requirements.
- Preferred: ability to read, write, and understand one or more programming languages.
- Preferred: experience integrating Stripe or other RESTful APIs into web applications.
- Preferred: experience with systems design and building and deploying complex applications.
- Preferred: independence, strategic thinking, creativity, collaboration, and comfort operating in ambiguous circumstances.
