Software Engineer - Salesforce Development

- Design, develop, test, debug, document, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL.
- Build and maintain complex integrations with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML services.
- Participate in technology initiatives involving installation, upgrades, deployments, service quality, and availability improvements.
- Review technical assignments, research alternative technologies, recommend issue resolutions, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Apply Salesforce data modeling, sharing, security, integration, and API design principles.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, deployment automation, and production support ownership.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, technology colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, and partner applications.
- Follow applicable security, compliance, risk, and service-level requirements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL.
- Experience with the Salesforce data model, unit testing, integration patterns, API design, and Salesforce solutions.
- Experience building enterprise integrations using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML services.
- Knowledge of data modeling, Salesforce sharing and security models, object-oriented design principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with Financial Services Cloud configuration and customization is desired.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II, Administrator, or Financial Services Cloud are desired.
- Experience with source control, CI/CD, DevOps practices, Jenkins, GitHub, deployment tools, testing tools, and deployment automation is desired.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, production support, and cross-team collaboration is desired.
- Exposure to AI or generative AI solutions and adaptability to new AI-related technologies are desired.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Scrum/Kanban application development methodologies is desired.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills are desired.
