Responsibilities
- Deliver new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for the algorithmic trading platform.
- Participate in the full project life cycle, including technical analysis, design, data analysis and mapping, development, and testing.
- Provide occasional level 2 and level 3 support for front-office applications.
- Work with business and development teams on task and project priorities and progress.
- Ensure compliance with functional architecture strategy and company development standards.
- Assist with project management for new system implementations or system upgrades when needed.
- Collaborate with quants to bring new algorithmic trading strategies to market and evolve the firm’s trading offerings.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience designing and developing algorithmic trading systems for equity markets.
- Hands-on experience coding and developing algorithmic trading systems in Java.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professionalism, teamwork, self-direction, initiative, prioritization, and strong self-management skills.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD automation, distributed systems, message-oriented architecture, and event-driven systems.
- Preferred experience with financial markets and local market characteristics.
- Preferred knowledge of networks, TCP/IP, and enterprise messaging solutions.

- Pay range at commencement is $600–$800 per day.
