Base Salary
$127k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality user experiences across web and mobile surfaces.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to design, develop, launch, and operate consumer-facing features.
- Work backward from customer problems to drive business impact.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Maintain and improve the backend services supporting Twitch features.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or prior relevant engineering experience.
- At least 1 year of professional engineering experience building consumer-facing products at scale.
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts to technical and business audiences.
- Track record of thinking through and shipping quality user experiences.
- Enthusiasm for AI-driven engineering practices and optimizing development lifecycles with modern automated tools.
- Preferred: React Native experience, Go or other backend language experience, AWS experience including ECS, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, and Step Functions, familiarity with Twitch, gaming, or streaming, and software used by the gaming community.
