Base Salary
$176k - $191k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and contribute to web properties supporting post-purchase order status, delivery tracking, order support, notifications, and post-checkout experiences.
- Lead web projects end to end from product brief analysis and spike investigations through technical specifications, rollout, and post-launch retrospectives.
- Define JSON contracts and API endpoints with backend engineering partners.
- Establish custom metrics, telemetry, and Datadog dashboards with Product partners.
- Use feature management platforms for controlled rollouts and A/B testing.
- Set up production observability, participate in on-call rotations, and triage production incidents.
- Collaborate across Web, Mobile, Backend, Product, Design, Data Science, and QA teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on modern web applications.
- Experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, or equivalent web frameworks.
- Experience taking complex features from Figma-based product design and API contract definition through build, release, and post-launch telemetry.
- Hands-on experience with feature management platforms such as DevCycle, LaunchDarkly, or Optimizely.
- Experience with production observability tools such as Datadog or Sentry, on-call rotations, and production incident triage.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership skills.
- Experience with Backend-For-Frontend architectures or Node.js services is preferred.
- Experience with Spinnaker, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions and web deployment pipelines is preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce, food delivery, logistics, or real-time tracking systems is preferred.
