Base Salary

$105k - $235k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-team evolution of middleware patterns and runtimes to standardize interoperability at scale.
  • Define versioning, deprecation, rollout, API lifecycle, and interoperability strategies that minimize downstream disruption.
  • Design, implement, test, debug, profile, optimize, and maintain scalable distributed software services.
  • Drive shared observability, SLO, error-budget, resilience, automation, monitoring, and service-availability practices.
  • Provide technical leadership through architecture guidance, code reviews, coaching, mentoring, and influence across multiple teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to resolve complex issues and inform product enhancements.
  • Contribute to planning, coordination, project oversight, continuous improvement, and candidate interviews.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C#, or other object-oriented languages.
  • Proven experience delivering high-scale distributed services in production and operating mission-critical Tier-1 live services.
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and system design.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence architectural direction, engineering practices, and roadmaps across teams.
  • Preferred experience with Identity and Access Management, OCI, AWS, Azure, multi-region and multi-availability-zone architectures, Docker, security practices, compliance frameworks, and enterprise customers.
