Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and design teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Maintain and enhance the existing codebase while improving application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Integrate and maintain third-party libraries and APIs.
- Apply scalable and modular architectural patterns and mobile design practices.
- Identify, fix, and resolve bugs and address application security vulnerabilities.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for activities such as code generation, testing, debugging, performance analysis, and automation.
- Drive impactful features and products from development through delivery.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of overall software development experience, including 4+ years of mobile application development experience.
- Hands-on experience building Android applications and understanding Android architecture, lifecycle, and best practices.
- Knowledge of MVVM, MVP, and Clean Architecture patterns.
- Experience with Gradle and dependency management tools such as Maven Central and Version Catalogs.
- Experience with unit tests, UI tests using Espresso, and snapshot testing.
- Understanding of dependency injection, observers, and reactive programming.
- Strong focus on user interaction, usability, visual design, and attention to detail.
- Ability to take ownership of feature and product development end to end.
- Commitment to clean, readable, maintainable, and well-structured code.
- Ability to collaborate, learn new technologies, and tackle technical challenges.
