Product Security Lead

Responsibilities
- Lead threat modeling, security design reviews, and targeted code reviews for web and UI frameworks, runtimes, rendering pipelines, and guest-user-exposed data-access APIs.
- Serve as the security lead for multi-quarter, multi-team programs involving guest-user data access, external rendering surfaces, and agent-facing product trust models.
- Develop secure-by-default patterns for frameworks, SDKs, and rendering pipelines and author security standards adopted by other teams.
- Own AI and agentic risk mitigation, including prompt injection, excessive agency, context or memory poisoning, human-in-the-loop gates, least-privilege scoping, audit logging, and short-lived credentials.
- Define security controls for agent and connector integrations, including the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Requirements
- Deep expertise in web/application security and modern UI frameworks, web runtimes, or data-access APIs.
- Hands-on experience finding and eliminating web weaknesses and securing guest-user or unauthenticated surfaces.
- Experience driving threat models across complex web, UI, or data-access environments to resolution.
- Ability to reason about AI, large language model, and agentic risks in real product work.
- Track record authoring security standards and leading cross-team, multi-release security programs.
- Ability to influence experienced developers and fluently review JavaScript/TypeScript plus Java, Python, or Go.
- Preferred experience securing UI frameworks, web runtimes, GraphQL or data-access APIs, or rendering frameworks at scale.
- Preferred experience with LLM application security, agent frameworks, MCP, security-program ownership, bug bounty, or red-team work.

- The typical base salary range is $172,500-$260,100 annually; in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas, the range is $207,800-$285,800 annually.
