Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain application features and modules using .NET Core/.NET 8+ and C#.
- Follow design patterns, architectural guidelines, coding standards, and Microsoft framework best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers.
- Collaborate with Product Management, senior developers, and QA to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Build and consume ASP.NET Core APIs and contribute to microservices-based components under guidance.
- Write and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures, and support data modeling and basic indexing.
- Debug and resolve defects while identifying performance bottlenecks and technical debt.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimate assigned tasks, and deliver sprint commitments.
- Continue learning and applying advances in the .NET and Microsoft ecosystems.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional software development experience on the Microsoft technology stack; strong internships or project work will be considered.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience with .NET Core/.NET 5+ and C#.
- Working knowledge of WPF, ASP.NET Core Web API, MVC patterns, middleware, and dependency injection.
- Working knowledge of Entity Framework Core, including migrations and database-first/code-first approaches.
- Good SQL Server skills, including queries, joins, stored procedures, indexing, and query performance.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, asynchronous programming, and core .NET fundamentals.
- Good communication skills, willingness to learn, and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of Google Maps API and Mapbox API is advantageous.
