Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of networking architecture for automotive HPC platforms and zonal architectures.
- Define and optimize in-vehicle communication protocols including Ethernet TSN, CAN FD, LIN, and FlexRay.
- Coordinate integration with hardware, operating system, middleware, and cybersecurity teams.
- Manage network stack performance, QoS, latency, bandwidth allocation, diagnostics, logging, and security mechanisms.
- Drive compliance with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and ISO 21434.
- Interface with Tier-1 suppliers, silicon vendors, and OEMs to align networking requirements.
- Mentor engineers across networking, embedded software, and system integration teams.
- Own the HPC networking roadmap and contribute to vehicle E-E architecture strategy.
- Debug and optimize system performance, latency, and throughput.
- Contribute to automotive safety and security concepts including ASIL requirements, secure boot, and secure partitioning.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7.5 years of experience is required, with additional information specifying a minimum of 12 years in automotive ECU software.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computers, electronics, or a related stream.
- Strong experience with automotive networking protocols and high-performance embedded systems.
- Proficiency in Ethernet TSN, IP stacks, CAN/CAN FD, and real-time communication frameworks.
- Familiarity with zonal architectures, domain controllers, and service-oriented communication using SOME/IP.
- Experience with network simulation, validation, and performance profiling tools.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, performance optimization, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
