Responsibilities
- Act as the technical lead and owner of technical aspects throughout the product lifecycle.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Contribute to solution architecture and ensure alignment with functional, non-functional, IT, security, and technology standards.
- Lead the build, deployment, and operational support of custom-developed solutions based primarily on Microsoft technologies such as .NET.
- Manage integration and adaptation of off-the-shelf software solutions within the wider IT landscape.
- Perform fit-gap analyses and support RFI/RFP, technical evaluation, and software selection processes.
- Coordinate delivery and operational activities with internal platforms, suppliers, Product Owners, developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance, incidents, problems, maintenance, SLAs, and KPIs, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to product roadmaps, supplier management, license discussions, and SLA definition.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in software development, software integration, and/or solution management.
- Knowledge of enterprise software solutions, preferably in Asset Management or Grid Asset Management.
- Strong knowledge of .NET, Visual Studio, and SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Docker or similar containerization technologies, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with fit-gap analysis, requirements definition, and software selection processes.
- Understanding of software architecture principles, security standards, compliance requirements, and IT service management processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with multidisciplinary business and technical teams.
- Fluency in Dutch and/or French and strong command of English.
- Experience in the electricity sector is considered a plus.
