Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites for backend REST APIs and web-based user interfaces.
- Build and maintain a scalable test automation harness with execution, reporting, data setup and teardown, and CI/CD integration.
- Implement Python and Pytest automation with fixtures, test data strategies, and robust assertions.
- Create and maintain Docker or Podman container images for developer and CI environments.
- Integrate automated tests into Jenkins and GitLab pipelines and produce actionable test reporting.
- Use Linux command-line tools and Bash to process logs, test artifacts, results, and system data.
- Support Robot Framework and Selenium UI automation and improve test stability.
- Plan and estimate migration of the legacy test harness to Robot Framework AIO or Microsoft Playwright.
- Maintain SQL queries and database validation steps in automated tests.
- Troubleshoot CI failures and test volatility and improve automation reliability.
- Develop T&E strategies, master plans, readiness assessments, test procedures, and reports.
Requirements
- A current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required to start.
- Eight years of test engineering experience on programs or contracts of similar scope and complexity are required.
- A bachelor's degree in mathematics, science, engineering, statistics, engineering management, or a related discipline is required, with four additional years of test engineering experience substitutable for the degree.
- Strong Linux and Bash shell scripting experience is required.
- Advanced Python test automation experience, including Pytest-based frameworks, is required.
- Strong Docker or Podman experience, including building, versioning, and maintaining automation images, is required.
- Working knowledge of Jenkins and GitLab pipelines is required.
- Experience testing REST APIs, including response validation, authentication flows, and negative or error-path testing, is required.
- Familiarity with Robot Framework UI automation using the Python Selenium library is required.
- Experience migrating test automation frameworks, improving CI performance and parallelization, and debugging services, containers, CI logs, and test reports is preferred.
