Base Salary
$194k - $233k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized services for a distributed, multi-tenant system processing data, real-time events, and network telemetry from public clouds.
- Design, present, implement, and deliver robust service architectures.
- Own critical features and subsystems across requirements clarification, development, deployment, and customer usage.
- Own operational aspects, code quality, developer testing, and functional/integration testing.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
- Partner with Product Management to refine requirements and understand customer problems.
- Develop software primarily in Go and work with data pipelines using SQL or other interfaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Extensive API-level or programming-level experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Go and SQL, REST API clients, and a Unix/Linux programming environment.
- Experience delivering containerized services on Kubernetes is desired.
- Networking and security-controls experience, CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible are nice to have.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge is required.
- Ability and willingness to continuously learn, follow technology trends, and work collaboratively.
