Responsibilities
- Maintain the integrity and functionality of manufacturing information systems for daily production.
- Develop, implement, and update testing systems involving hardware, software, and LUA programming.
- Develop, implement, and update traceability systems involving hardware, software, and programming.
- Introduce new software and hardware for production lines and implement new technologies and applications.
- Implement technological poka-yoke solutions and support AI vision systems.
- Identify and report quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions while following safety rules.
Requirements
- Computer Science background and 3–5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience with test software applications, testing systems, and traceability systems.
- Knowledge of Python 2.7/Jython, communication protocols, SAP basics, and SQL databases.
- Ability to read electrical, electronic, and pneumatic drawings.
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and strong focus on safety and quality.
- PLC Allen Bradley and LUA experience is a plus.
- English proficiency is preferred.
