Responsibilities
- Build and operate systems focused on reliability and correctness.
- Continuously improve system robustness through analysis and iteration.
- Reason about complexity and manage entropy in complex systems.
- Build understandable, maintainable, and reliable infrastructure.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including type systems, composition, and testing.
- Experience with functional programming concepts or languages.
- High precision, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
- Ability to reason carefully about complex systems and edge cases.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure is preferred.
