Base Salary
$173k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop a simulation framework for detailed 3D simulation at massive scale.
- Use Cesium to create large-scale simulation environments.
- Customize Unreal Engine plugins for content ingestion and creation.
- Integrate game engines into the company’s simulation workflow.
- Deploy engines on local or cloud platforms according to customer needs.
- Optimize simulations for performance and accuracy.
- Interact with users to collect feedback and contribute to technical and product decisions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience developing and maintaining game engines at an AAA game studio.
- Experience deploying and optimizing software across multiple platforms, including on-premises and cloud environments.
- Expertise in scalable and flexible game-engine architecture best practices.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine and content workflows.
- Experience shipping Unreal Engine games is preferred.
- Experience with autonomous vehicles or simulation products is preferred.
- Experience integrating third-party physics libraries is preferred.
- Experience with Houdini or other DCC packages such as Maya, 3DS Max, or Blender is preferred.
- Experience with networking and multiplayer use cases is preferred.
