Responsibilities
- Own quality strategy and end-to-end testing for Guidewire Insurance Suite and digital platforms.
- Define and govern functional, integration, regression, release, performance, and non-functional testing standards.
- Lead automation-first testing and partner with DevSecOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead QA activities across Agile planning, sprint testing, release readiness, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
- Provide risk-based release recommendations and govern defect triage, prioritization, and resolution.
- Own L2/L3 production quality support, root-cause analysis, defect prevention, and reliability improvements.
- Mentor junior and intermediate QA engineers on test design, automation, and quality practices.
- Standardize and reuse test cases, regression packs, automation assets, and test data strategies.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in quality assurance or quality engineering roles.
- Guidewire certification is required.
- Strong hands-on experience testing Guidewire platforms, including strong knowledge of P&C insurance processes.
- Experience leading QA workstreams or domains.
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery and test management practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Guidewire Cloud testing experience is preferred.
- Experience with Guidewire UI, API, or integration automation frameworks is preferred.
- Performance testing for transaction-heavy platforms and experience in regulated or audit-driven environments are preferred.
- Experience collaborating with DevSecOps and SRE teams is preferred.
