Base Salary
$120k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead major or large-scale deployment engagements across Keysight and customer engineering teams.
- Own complex deployment issues from initial report through diagnosis, validated fixes, and controlled releases.
- Work with customer development teams to analyze signaling flows, traces, timing behavior, and performance data across protocol layers.
- Write and modify application, protocol-stack, supporting software, and firmware required by customer environments.
- Develop Python APIs, workflow automation, diagnostic instrumentation, patches, feature flags, and interim releases.
- Prototype and iterate on features with customers and translate field issues into engineering requirements and product defects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent, with 6–7 years of relevant software or systems engineering experience.
- Strong software-development experience across multiple software stacks, with production-quality code that ships in customer builds.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python including API development, Linux, embedded or real-time software, and automated testing.
- Expertise in at least one wireless domain such as PHY/L1, MAC/RLC/PDCP and L2, or RRC/NAS and L3, with working knowledge of adjacent layers and end-to-end 4G, 5G, and 5G-Advanced behavior.
- Experience debugging protocol interactions using logs, traces, packet captures, call flows, and timing analysis.
- Familiarity with 3GPP specifications, standards compliance, interoperability, implementation behavior, and test instrumentation or emulation tools.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, communicate trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders, work independently, and operate in confidential customer programs.
- Willingness to relocate or travel to a specific customer site as required.

- Salary range is $119,850.00–$215,740.00, varying by location.
