Base Salary
$189k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop deep learning models using imitation learning and reinforcement learning to generate driving plans for autonomous vehicles.
- Develop techniques and metrics to evaluate driving-plan safety, progress, comfort, and overall quality.
- Leverage large-scale machine learning infrastructure to develop new solutions.
- Build tools to analyze system errors and measure improvements.
- Collaborate with Perception, Planning, Simulation, and Systems Engineering teams on autonomous driving in complex urban environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience training and deploying transformer-based model architectures and reinforcement learning systems.
- Experience with production machine learning pipelines, including dataset creation, training frameworks, and metrics pipelines.
- Fluency in C++ or Python, with a basic understanding of C++.
- Extensive programming and algorithm-design experience.
- Strong mathematics skills.
- Conference or journal publications in machine learning or robotics and experience with prediction, autonomous vehicles, or robotics are preferred.
