Responsibilities
- Design and implement systems for email detection combining rules, models, and business inputs.
- Identify new feature groups or ML model approaches to enhance detection efficacy.
- Understand features that differentiate safe emails from attacks.
- Drive debugging in detection pipelines and decision data flow.
- Write code with a focus on testability and readability.
- Train models on datasets to improve efficacy against specialized attacks.
- Monitor and improve False Positive rates and efficacy rates.
- Analyze datasets to identify capability gaps and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to building and debugging data pipelines.
- Lead the team's roadmap and execution strategy.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers to enhance code quality.
Requirements
- Proven success in translating business requirements into scalable systems.
- 4+ years of experience with production ML systems.
- Systematic approach to debugging data and system issues.
- Fluency in Python and machine learning libraries like numpy and scikit-learn.
- Experience with SQL, pandas, and spark for data analytics.
- Independently manage the entire lifecycle of projects.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
