Responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives to mitigate and remediate security risk across the organization.
- Implement and instrument security controls and tooling across cloud infrastructure.
- Work in a cloud-native environment leveraging containerized workloads and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform scripting and coding to build security tooling and automate redundant tasks.
- Use Terraform to deploy security baseline controls and conduct code reviews.
- Research and advocate for new technologies and security products.
- Lead the Applied Cryptography function focused on PKI and key lifecycle management.
- Operate in a Tier 0 environment with a focus on incident response.
- Define, document, and implement security standards for cloud operations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Security Engineering.
- Strong understanding of security, infrastructure, and application architecture.
- Demonstrable knowledge of network architecture and web application security.
- Experience running infrastructure at scale with configuration management.
- Experience operating Tier 0 systems in production.
- Expertise in at least 2-3 vertical domains within security engineering.
- Professional knowledge of Golang, Java, or other OOP languages.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD toolsets.
- Familiarity with SRE and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across the organization.
