Responsibilities
- Build new features and enhancements across the established .NET product, working across the data layer and user interface.
- Write clean, secure, maintainable, and documented code while following coding standards and secure-development practices.
- Handle sensitive customer data responsibly and keep security and data protection central to development.
- Improve performance and reliability through refactoring, database optimization, and architectural improvements.
- Participate in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and the full software delivery cycle.
- Work with the Product Manager to shape and deliver features.
- Triage, maintain, and improve core parts of the existing application.
Requirements
- Solid commercial experience developing with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases, particularly SQL Server.
- Full-stack web development experience using ASP.NET Razor, HTML, and CSS.
- Track record of writing secure code and handling sensitive data appropriately.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Ability to own tasks through completion and collaborate within an agile team.
- Desirable: experience with Azure or other cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies.
- Desirable: understanding of microservices and event-based architectures.
- Desirable: familiarity with HTMX.
- Desirable: CI/CD experience, ideally with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
- Desirable: experience with Atlassian tooling, including Jira and Confluence.
