Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and validate enterprise integrations using Dell Boomi.
- Build, configure, and test Boomi processes, connectors, and data mappings.
- Integrate student information systems, CRM platforms, learning management platforms, and third-party SaaS tools.
- Implement integration error handling, logging, and monitoring.
- Support unit, system, and end-to-end integration testing, cutover planning, and go-live readiness.
- Define and document integration patterns, data flows, interface standards, architectures, mappings, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with Darden Strategic IT, UVA’s Boomi Integration team, and third-party vendors to follow governance and enterprise standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant professional experience; a combination of relevant experience, education, and certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Five or more years of hands-on experience designing and developing integrations with Dell Boomi is preferred.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as student information systems, SaaS applications, or CRM platforms.
- Strong understanding of integration architectures, APIs, data modeling, and middleware platforms.
- Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.
- Experience developing solutions using JavaScript and Groovy.
- Boomi certifications, higher-education platform integration experience, student lifecycle systems familiarity, shared-services IT experience, and Git or SVN experience are preferred.
