Responsibilities
- Understand product architecture, automation frameworks, and the release process.
- Enhance automation frameworks and automate functional tests across the full system stack.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD Jenkins pipelines and API, CLI, and UI automation frameworks.
- Automate product deployments, functional automation runs, test infrastructure deployment, and operating system configuration.
- Collaborate with functional teams, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to identify technical and functional needs.
- Identify improvements to products, tools, processes, system performance, workflows, and resource utilization.
- Participate in automation code reviews and provide feedback to improve framework quality, efficiency, and scalability.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automation and benchmarking.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Groovy, Java, and/or C++.
- Deep understanding of Windows operating systems, including internals and performance characteristics.
- Working knowledge of Linux administration and virtualization technologies and their effects on system performance.
- Experience with automation frameworks and tools including Git, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, SaltStack, and Docker/Kubernetes.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and continuous benchmarking.
- Expertise with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Proficiency deploying test infrastructure on vSphere, AWS, and Azure, including installing Windows, configuring Active Directory, and setting up DNS.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders and contribute to automation code reviews.
