Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain end-to-end machine-learning training pipelines for data collection, validation, transformation, training, and evaluation.
- Package, optimize, and deploy machine-learning models for production use in cloud, edge, and industrial sorting-machine environments.
- Build, integrate, and maintain secure data platforms including SQL/NoSQL databases, object storage, and feature stores.
- Develop REST APIs, internal tools, and web-based user interfaces supporting ML workflows and data-platform functions.
- Apply software-engineering practices including version control, code reviews, technical documentation, unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
- Containerize components, implement CI/CD pipelines, and maintain and troubleshoot ML tools in production.
- Contribute to data- and model-centered research and innovation projects, including image-processing model optimization.
- Manage requirements, stakeholders, project coordination, and technical decisions for assigned projects.
Requirements
- Several years of demonstrable professional experience developing and deploying productive machine-learning systems with measurable business value.
- Very strong knowledge of Python.
- Strong expertise in computer vision and machine-learning and deep-learning tooling.
- Experience with MLOps, particularly data modeling, packaging, containerization, and CI/CD.
- Experience in data science for optimizing image-processing models.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, REST API development, and modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React, or willingness to learn them.
- Knowledge of cloud and on-premises platforms and their interfaces.
- Knowledge of model-optimization frameworks including TensorRT, ONNX, CUDA, and cuDNN.
- Experience with edge deployment on x64 and ARM/Jetson hardware platforms.
- Strong ownership, stakeholder-management, requirements-management, project-coordination, and technical decision-making skills.
