Base Salary
$130k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and integrate software and algorithms for path planning, behavioral planning, and vehicle control.
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and launch robotic motion-planning algorithms, including A* and CC-RRT.
- Work with vehicle modeling and kinematics.
- Produce computationally efficient software that meets real-time requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in motion planning, AI, or autonomy for real-world applications.
- Skill in numerical optimization techniques such as nonlinear constrained optimization, or skill in AI or robotics.
- Preferred experience with robotic or vehicle system design and implementation, ROS, Linux development, automotive or aerospace environments, safety-critical code, SLAM, probabilistic filtering, reinforcement learning, and real-time sensor fusion.
- Preferred sensor-fusion experience with IMU, lidar, camera, odometry, or radar.
