Base Salary
$184k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own product features and services end to end, including design, development, deployment, and production operation.
- Lead and mentor small teams of engineers.
- Drive alignment among product, design, data, and engineering stakeholders.
- Make architecture decisions for AI/agent and product systems.
- Write well-tested and observable code and improve engineering quality through reviews and pairing.
- Handle privacy, security, and health data responsibly.
- Translate ambiguous product problems into shippable work and make pragmatic delivery trade-offs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 6+ years of industry experience.
- Experience leading small teams of engineers.
- Strong backend engineering skills, including ownership of features or systems, backend services, APIs, and related application code.
- Experience with testing, deployment, and observability for systems operated in production.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and turn rough problems into shipped solutions.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration across product, design, and engineering.
- Interest in improving healthcare within an interdisciplinary team.
- Preferred experience with Kotlin, TypeScript, React, Flutter, AI/LLM product systems or agents, healthcare data or another regulated domain, mobile-to-backend systems, and early-stage consumer products.
