Base Salary
$184k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own meaningful features and services end to end by designing, building, shipping, and operating them in production.
- Lead and mentor small teams of engineers.
- Drive stakeholder alignment across product, design, data, and engineering.
- Make architecture decisions across AI/agent and core product systems.
- Write high-quality, tested, and observable code while raising engineering standards through reviews and pairing.
- Handle privacy, security, and responsible health-data practices.
- Turn ambiguous product problems into shippable work and make pragmatic delivery trade-offs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and 6+ years of industry experience.
- Experience leading small teams of engineers.
- Strong engineering skills with end-to-end ownership of features or systems, including backend services, APIs, and connecting code.
- Experience operating software in production, including testing, deployment, and observability.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, communicate clearly, and collaborate across product, design, data, and engineering.
- Genuine interest in improving healthcare with an interdisciplinary team.
- Bonus experience with Kotlin, TypeScript, React, Flutter, AI/LLM product systems or agents, healthcare data or other regulated domains, mobile and backend integration, or early-stage consumer products.
