Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, integrate, test, and debug software solutions for end-user customers.
- Support architecture, development, and lifecycle management of embedded and real-time systems.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Hardware, and Integration & Test teams.
- Analyze system capabilities and troubleshoot issues involving program intent, output requirements, data acquisition, programming methods, and control strategies.
- Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with rapid development cycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8+ years, Master’s degree with 6+ years, or Ph.D. with 4+ years of software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ development.
- Extensive experience with the VxWorks Real-Time Operating System.
- Hands-on experience with GPUs and/or CUDA, including developing, optimizing, or troubleshooting GPU-accelerated applications.
- Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government Secret clearance.
- Preferred experience includes Directed Energy programs, image processing, Linux or Red Hawk Linux, low-level development, Curtis-Wright VPX processors, Acromag AcroPack interface VPX cards, MATLAB, and adaptive optics processing.
- U.S. citizenship is required for positions involving government clearance or other restricted work.
