Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly scalable, low-latency DSP bidder features for the Activate platform.
- Develop clean, modular, maintainable, and scalable Go software on Linux/UNIX platforms.
- Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, code reviews, automated testing, deployment, release management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Design technical solutions and contribute to architecture and feature discussions.
- Develop and deploy applications on Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize service performance, availability, and reliability.
- Use generative AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, documentation, debugging, and engineering efficiency.
- Mentor, groom, and technically lead junior team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions and assume Agile/Scrum responsibilities when needed.
Requirements
- 7–12 years of Golang experience on Linux/Unix platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Go development and strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, system programming, multithreading, multiprocessing, and memory management.
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on Kubernetes, preferably in containerized environments.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience owning software delivery, production troubleshooting, performance optimization, and high-availability systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Computer Science or Information Technology, or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, communication, ownership, self-direction, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to Agile/Scrum practices.
- Proficiency with generative AI-assisted development tools and IDEs is valued.
