Responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale Azure cloud solutions from initial conception through requirements gathering, architecture, implementation, and delivery.
- Provide technological and architectural consulting to clients and guide business and software engineering teams.
- Create strategic cloud migration roadmaps and advise clients on execution.
- Support pre-sales activities including tender responses, proof-of-concept work, and cloud solution design.
- Design solutions with attention to security, flexibility, regulatory compliance, cost, and performance.
- Contribute to group-wide architectural thought leadership and technical excellence initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience designing and implementing large-scale software solutions, including at least 1 year with Azure.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, synchronous and asynchronous communication, RESTful APIs, messaging, and publish-subscribe systems.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and components including networks, load balancers, web servers, databases, and distributed caches.
- Experience with Azure hosting, serverless, messaging and eventing, workflows, storage, security, and monitoring services.
- Experience designing identity and access management with Azure AD/Entra ID and Azure B2C/Entra External ID.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, Azure CLI, ARM templates, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tooling, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality analysis.
- Strong leadership and communication skills and familiarity with agile methods.
- Fluency in English and either French or German.
- Microsoft Azure certification is a plus.
