Responsibilities
- Build frontend applications for command-and-control systems, mission dashboards, and system health monitoring.
- Develop scalable backend and middleware services, APIs, and microservices across networks, edge devices, and cloud environments.
- Extend Lattice OS and integrate Maritime platforms, unmanned vehicles, sensors, mission systems, network devices, and classified cloud environments.
- Implement and test mesh networking, fault-tolerant data pipelines, and edge-to-cloud systems for classified operations.
- Collaborate with hardware, autonomy, DevOps, infrastructure, corporate IT, security, Mission Ops, and product teams.
- Support multinational deployments, exercises, customer engagements, and real-time integration troubleshooting.
- Create integration guides, API documentation, software deployment procedures, and engineering best practices.
- Use field experience to contribute to R&D and future Lattice and Maritime systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering or systems integration.
- Strong frontend proficiency with technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js and backend proficiency with Python, Go, Node.js, or similar languages.
- Experience with systems engineering, networking, security, and edge/cloud integrations.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or another cloud platform, preferably in secure or classified environments.
- Working knowledge of network protocols, mesh networking, and secure communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes Maritime platforms, unmanned underwater vehicles, undersea sensors, submarine systems, Lattice OS, autonomy or sensor-fusion operating systems, sovereign cloud environments, classified military networks, AUKUS collaboration, and multinational mission systems integration.
