Responsibilities
- Engage customers during presales to gather requirements and explain Canonical technology.
- Collaborate with Canonical experts to assemble comprehensive solutions for prospective clients.
- Participate in selected Embedded Linux projects, including demonstrations and proofs of concept.
- Convey market requirements to internal stakeholders and contribute to generic solutions.
- Act as a customer advocate and trusted advisor to Canonical partners and customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Extensive Linux experience, preferably with Debian or Ubuntu.
- Solid embedded Linux experience with Yocto or an RTOS.
- Fluency in Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
- Professional written and spoken English in addition to the local language.
- Relevant experience in the Automotive industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, customer engagement, multitasking, learning, and commitment skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Experience with ISO26262 and/or ISO21434 is preferred.
- Experience with customer engagements is preferred.
