Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade full-stack web applications with responsive and accessible user experiences.
- Develop component-based front ends using C#, Razor/Blazor, CSS, JavaScript, and React, and build back-end services using C#, .NET, and Python.
- Design application boundaries, API contracts, and integration patterns across front ends, AI services, data stores, and enterprise platforms.
- Integrate applications with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AI Search, vector stores, enterprise APIs, and agentic workflows.
- Build conversational AI, enterprise search, document intelligence, summarization, recommendation, and AI-assisted workflow experiences.
- Implement authentication, authorization, validation, auditability, secure configuration, prompt and output safeguards, access controls, and graceful fallbacks.
- Create unit, component, integration, contract, and end-to-end tests for standard and AI-enabled user journeys.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and deploy containerized applications to Azure services including App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, and AKS.
- Instrument applications with logs, metrics, traces, and usage telemetry; diagnose production issues and participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
- Provide technical direction through solution design, architecture discussions, code reviews, trade-off decisions, mentoring, and reusable engineering patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with senior-level ownership of production applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, Razor/Blazor, CSS, JavaScript, React, and C#/.NET back-end services.
- Production experience with Razor/Blazor component design, state management, CSS styling, JavaScript interoperability, and front-end testing.
- Experience designing and consuming APIs and integrating front ends with distributed back-end services.
- Hands-on experience delivering AI-enabled applications involving generative AI, LLMs, RAG, conversational AI, document intelligence, or agent-based solutions.
- Experience with Azure-hosted applications and automated delivery using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience taking software from design through deployment and operational support in an enterprise environment.
- Experience creating automation and test tooling with TypeScript, PowerShell, and C#.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Agent Framework, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LangGraph, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure ML, Cosmos DB, Redis, PostgreSQL, pgvector, SignalR, Server-Sent Events, or WebSockets.
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Microsoft Entra ID, role-based access control, enterprise API security, accessible interfaces, design systems, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, API Management, LLM evaluation, prompt/version management, tracing, cost controls, Responsible AI, privacy, and AI governance.
- Experience in IoT, smart buildings, industrial applications, or other operational technology domains is desirable.
