Base Salary
$69k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in collaborative, cross-discipline integrated product teams.
- Design, develop, test, debug, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
- Own some or all of a software product as a software team member.
- Possibly lead a small software team.
- Identify and resolve operational, technical, or documentation deficiencies within an engineering environment.
- Use generative AI tools or machine-learning-assisted technologies to improve technical workflows, code quality, or delivery.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar technical discipline.
- Experience designing and programming with C++, Java, C#, or another object-oriented language.
- Experience developing and debugging object-oriented software using data structures and algorithms.
- Knowledge of memory management and multithreaded applications.
- Experience with open systems architecture and modular design, including loosely coupled components, standardized APIs, or modular interfaces.
- Experience using generative AI tools or machine-learning-assisted technologies in technical workflows.
- Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance before the start date; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD and configuration-management tools such as Git, Atlassian Suite, Azure, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
- Preferred experience with data-analysis tools such as MATLAB and Python.
- Preferred experience with Agile frameworks, Test-Driven Development, or DevOps principles.
- Preferred experience developing across Linux, VxWorks, Green Hills INTEGRITY, or Windows environments.
- Demonstrated technical adaptability and ability to meet project milestones in dynamic environments.
