Base Salary

$131k - $178k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor and architectural authority for Intelligence Community customers.
  • Design and prototype secure, scalable, resilient architectures for large-scale sensor-data processing across edge and cloud environments.
  • Lead architecture reviews, whiteboard sessions, proofs of concept, pilots, and Well-Architected reviews.
  • Operationalize generative AI, agentic AI, foundation models, computer vision, and geospatial machine learning in deployable architectures.
  • Architect portable, container-based solutions using open-source technologies.
  • Partner with account and capture managers on strategy, technical qualification, opportunity shaping, and mission roadmaps.
  • Create reference architectures, solution patterns, blog posts, whitepapers, demonstrations, and workshops.
  • Capture customer requirements, influence AWS service teams and product roadmaps, and mentor peers.
  • Travel up to 20% during some periods.

Requirements

  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • At least 2 years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • At least 4 years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
  • At least 5 years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
  • A bachelor's degree or a cloud technology certification such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud DevOps Engineering.
  • Preferred experience in software development or Internet-related industries, migrating legacy customer solutions to the cloud, and working with AWS technologies from a development/operations perspective.
