Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve complex application issues by developing permanent fixes, workarounds, or temporary patches.
- Maintain application performance, data integrity, and security across production and pre-production environments using data sanitization and anonymization practices.
- Manage application releases and infrastructure changes with automated deployment tools while following change management and governance standards.
- Provision and adapt hybrid, cloud, and virtualized infrastructure components.
- Automate repetitive tasks and system provisioning using scripts, Infrastructure as Code, and orchestration platforms.
- Containerize and orchestrate applications to improve scalability, delivery consistency, and rollback procedures.
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions to track system health, support cybersecurity compliance, and enable incident response.
- Design, test, and document high-availability disaster recovery plans, operational runbooks, and incident response playbooks.
Requirements
- Relevant bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience.
- Knowledge of supported application and infrastructure stacks, web servers, application logic, and automation scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Knowledge of Java (JEE), PHP, .Net, or other relevant technologies and frameworks.
- Knowledge of relational database management systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with component-based and service-oriented application development or configuration.
- Understanding of modeling languages or tools such as UML.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or comparable containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, or comparable monitoring and observability platforms.
- Experience with Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI, or comparable CI/CD pipeline tools.
- English fluency at C1 level or higher.
