Base Salary
$162k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Help shape the technical direction of the developer platform.
- Design and build AI agents to automate coding and review tasks.
- Scale tooling to support a growing engineering organization.
- Standardize tools and practices across teams.
- Raise the technical bar through code reviews and mentorship.
- Partner with engineering leadership on strategic decisions.
- Represent Samsara externally in talks and open source initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of software development experience, with 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong programming and design fundamentals.
- 4+ years of experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- 4+ years of experience leading technical projects across teams.
